What We're Looking For​

 

At The Agora Magazine, we love pieces that combine business, economics, finance, and literature in creative and meaningful ways.

We’re looking for:
⟡ Poems, stories, essays, and articles that explore these themes.
⟡ Work that makes complex topics personal, creative, or thought-provoking.
⟡ Fresh perspectives — whether you’re writing about money, markets, entrepreneurship, financial struggles, or economic history, we want to hear your voice.

If your work connects to business, economics, finance, or how these shape the world around us, we’d love to read it.

What We're Not Looking For

 

While we want honest and bold work, we won’t accept:
⟡ Hate speech, harmful content, or anything that promotes violence or discrimination.
⟡ Work that’s plagiarized or written using AI tools (we do check for this).
⟡ Pieces that have nothing to do with our niche — we focus on business, finance, economics, and literature.
⟡ Work that’s already been published by another magazine, journal, or publisher.

What We Accept

 

We accept:
⟡ Up to 3 submissions per person at a time. Each piece should be sent through a separate form submission.
⟡ All types of written work — poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, and articles.
⟡ Work written in any language, as long as you also provide an English translation (both will be published).
⟡ Previously self-published work (for example, work posted on your own blog or social media) — but not work published in other magazines.

Formatting

 

⟡ Files should be in DOCX (preferred) or PDF format.
⟡ Standard formatting is best — plain black text, readable font, and double-spaced for prose — unless your formatting is part of the creative structure.

⟡ Word count of under 2000 words is preferred.

Simultaneous Submissions

 

You’re welcome to submit to other places at the same time — just let us know if your work gets accepted somewhere else first.

⟡ Please submit each piece in a separate form submission.
⟡ You can submit up to 3 pieces at any given time.

 

Timeline

 

We accept submissions all year round — 24/7.
At the end of each month, we review everything sent in that month.
If your work is selected, we’ll contact you by email.
We can’t provide feedback on submissions at this time.
